Free guidance, from your first question to moving day
Search licensed communities, take a short care quiz or talk to a local advisor. However you start, WeFoundCare costs your family nothing.

Our help costs your family nothing
Two questions families reasonably ask before trusting any senior care service.
Why is it free?
Families never pay WeFoundCare. The directory is built from public licensing records, not from listings anyone buys.
WeFoundCare is free for families. No community can pay for placement, a higher spot in the directory or a badge on a listing.
Why can you trust what we show?
We don’t sell placements, rankings or badges. Communities appear because they hold a state license or show up in federal records, and they are listed in a neutral order.
We don’t publish star ratings or reviews, so there is no score to buy or game. Where we can’t source a fact, such as cost, we leave it out rather than guess.
How WeFoundCare works
Use the parts you need. Some families only search; others lean on an advisor from start to finish.

Tell us what is going on
Take the two-minute care quiz or call an advisor. We ask about daily routines, memory, health, timing and how you plan to pay, never for a budget number.
Review licensed options
Search by city or ZIP to see communities drawn from state licensing, CMS and HUD records. Each listing shows its license type and the record it came from.
Tour, compare and decide
An advisor can help you plan visits, share questions worth asking and explain programs such as Medicaid waivers and VA benefits. The decision is always yours.
Frequently asked questions
How our service works, in plain terms.
A free senior care directory built from public records, with plain-language guides, a care quiz and local advisors. It covers assisted living, memory care, independent living, nursing homes and home care.
No. WeFoundCare is free for families. Listings come from public licensing records, and no community can pay for placement.
Listings start from state licensing records, CMS data and HUD records. We match records across sources, keep the license type and source on each listing, and refresh when the records change. Memory care is only shown where a state record supports it, such as a dementia license or special care unit.
They start from what you need: care level, location, timing and how you plan to pay. WeFoundCare is free for families. No community can pay for a higher spot in the directory or a badge on a listing.
No. You can search, read and take the quiz without ever sharing contact details. Advisors are there if and when you want one.
A local advisor gets in touch, usually within one business day, to understand your situation. We use your details only to help with your search, and we never sell them.
Ratings can be gamed and are hard to verify, so we stick to public records. We don’t show prices because we haven’t licensed a cost dataset yet, and we won’t publish numbers we can’t source.
Yes. Because the directory comes from state and federal records, small towns are listed alongside big cities. Advisors can also help when local options are few and far between.
That happens, and it’s fine. Get back in touch any time and an advisor can help you look again, at no cost.
