Your community is probably listed already. Make sure it's right.
WeFoundCare builds its directory from state licensing, CMS and HUD records. Claim your listing to correct details, add what the records don’t show, and work with our local advisors.
Listing is free. Placement is never for sale: communities appear in a neutral order, without ratings.

Six steps to a complete, verified listing
Most communities finish in under a week. Our listings team is on hand at every step.
Find your listing
Search the directory by name, city or license number. If you can’t find it, tell us your license number and we’ll check the source records.
Confirm you manage it
Send the request form below from a work email. We confirm your role with a quick call to the number on your state license.
Correct and complete your profile
Fix outdated contact details and add what public records leave out: services, care specialties, languages spoken, photos and tour times.
Review our listing standards
Read how we display licensed data, what we can and can’t change, and why we never publish ratings or sponsored placements.
Join the advisor network, if you choose
Communities we work with agree to respond to family inquiries promptly and keep availability current.
Keep it current
When your license, ownership or services change, let us know. We also re-check public records on a regular schedule.
How listings work on WeFoundCare
Every listing starts from a public record: a state assisted living or residential care license, CMS data for nursing homes, or HUD records for senior housing. That keeps the directory complete and fair, including for small and rural providers.
What we will always do
- List licensed communities for free
- Show the license type and the record each listing came from
- Order results neutrally, never by payment
- Fix factual errors quickly once verified
What we won't do
- Sell placements, badges or “featured” spots
- Publish star ratings or reviews
- Show cost figures we haven’t sourced and licensed
- Hide a licensed community because it isn’t a partner

Families search here for licensed care
- 33,692assisted living listings
- 14,188memory care listings
- Freeto claim and update your listing
- 0communities that can pay for placement
Counts from the WeFoundCare directory build, October 2026, from state licensing, CMS and HUD records.
Questions from communities
What providers ask us most.
No. Licensed communities are listed free, and claiming or correcting your listing is free too.
No. No community can pay for placement, a sponsored spot or a badge. Results are ordered neutrally.
From public records: state licensing agencies, CMS and HUD. Details you add after verifying, such as services or photos, are labelled as provided by the community.
Send a correction with your license number. If the state record itself is out of date, we’ll flag it on the listing and update it when the agency does.
Licensed communities stay listed, because the information is public and families rely on a complete directory. If a community has closed or changed license type, tell us and we’ll update it.
Advisors suggest communities based on a family’s needs, location and timing. Communities we work with agree to respond quickly to families and keep availability current.
